Summary:Described herein is a human hematopoietic stem cell composition, methods and uses thereof. The invention relates to human hematopoietic stem cells which are provided by separating the stem cells from dedicated cells, and which may then be maintained by regeneration in an appropriate growth medium. Further disclosed are methods by which the stem cells may be assayed for their capacity to produce members of each of the hematopoietic lineages. This invention represents a continuation of other applications filed by the same assignee and inventors.
