Title: | T-cell receptors and their use in therapeutic and diagnostic methods | Inventors: | Nishimura, Michael; Rockville, MD, USA
Rosenberg, Steven A.; Potomac, MD, USA | Summary: | Described herein are T cell receptor alpha and beta chains, related nucleic acids, methods and uses thereof. The invention relates to nucleic acid sequences for T-cell receptors which recognize tumor associated antigens, specifically, melanoma antigens. Further disclosed are properties of T-cells and stem cells expressing the antigen specific T-cell receptors or chimeric receptors. Therapeutic applications are included for the use of such ? and ? chains in pharmaceutical compositions for the prevention or treatment of specific types of cancer such as lung, melanoma, ovarian, colon, brain or kidney tumors. | Abstract: | The present invention provides nucleic acid sequences for T-cell receptors which recognize tumor associated antigens. In particular, T-cell receptors which recognize melanoma antigens. This invention also provides T-cells expressing the antigen specific T-cell receptors. In addition, this invention provides stem cells expressing the antigen specific T-cell receptors or chimeric receptors. This invention further relates to therapeutic and diagnostic compositions and methods employing the T-cell receptors and chimeric receptors provided herein. | US Patent Website: | Click Here for Full Text of Patent | Title Number: | US5830755 | Application Number: | US1995000411098 | Date Filed: | 27/03/1995 | Date Published: | 03/11/1998 | Assignee: | The USA as represented by the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, Washington, DC, USA |
