Title:HT.sub.m4 methods of treatment and assays, agonists and antagonists
Inventors:Lim, Bing; Dorchester, MA, USA
Adra, Chaker N.; Boston, MA, USA
Lelias, Jean-Michel; Columbus, OH, USA
Summary:This invention described a method of recombinant DNA encoding of the carboxy terminus of the human HTm4 protein. Disclosed are properties of an isolated recombinant DNA molecule comprising extrachromosomal DNA which encodes a mammalian HTm4 protein, a transformed host cell which has been stably transfected with the DNA molecule, and the recombinant HTm4 protein itself. Also disclosed is a method for detecting the presence of a hereditary atopy. Further provided are therapeutic applications in the treatment of cancer and arthritis.
Abstract:The invention relates to a recombinant DNA molecule which encodes a HT.sub.m4 protein, a transformed host cell which has been stably transfected with a DNA molecule which encodes a HT.sub.m4 protein and a recombinant HT.sub.m4 protein. The invention also relates to a method for detecting the presence of a hereditary atopy.
