Abstract:Methods for the preparation of bone marrow stem cell compositions for use in transplantation therapy and ex vivo gene therapy of a mammal. The methods involve the use of quiescent stem cells for transplantation therapy and quiescent transfected stem cells for ex vivo gene therapy.
