Summary:This invention introduces methods of reducing allogeneic reactions from tissue transplants in mammals, and methods of reducing the migration of natural killer cells or T cells, via the administration of an antagonist of mammalian lymphotactin. Described herein are lymphotactin and lymphotactin antagonists for the administration to an animal, and methods by which their administration will either attract certain cell types, or can be blocked to prevent such attraction. Therapeutic applications in the protection of stem cells are included.
Abstract:This invention relates to the use of lymphotactin or lymphotactin antagonists for administration to an animal. The administration of these therapeutic entities will attract certain cell types, or can be blocked to prevent such attraction. It also provides means to protect stem cells.
