Title:Method of organogenesis and tissue regeneration/repair using surgical techniques
Inventors:Matapurkar, Balkrishna Ganpatrao; New Delhi, India
Summary:This invention introduces methods of in vivo and in situ organogenesis of tissues or organs. Described herein is a process of tissue and organ regeneration from a corresponding contiguous embryonal endodermal germ layer which involves the surgical transfer of an autogenous membrane containing pluripotent stem cells of endodermal origin to the site of the organ or tissue that is to be regenerated. Also included are therapeutic applications of such neo-organogenesis and neo-histogenesis in the regeneration of various mammalian organs and tissues.
Abstract:A method of isolating and developing a membrane containing pluripotent autogenous stem cells of endodermal origin for the use of neo-organogenesis and neo-histogenesis of various organs and tissues in mammals.
