Stem Cell Related Patent Number US7045128

Title:Antibodies against flt3-ligand
Inventors:Lyman, Stewart D.; Seattle, WA, USA
Summary:This invention describes novel antibodies that bind to the mouse flt-3 ligand receptors, which are capable of transducing self-renewal signals to regulate the growth, proliferation or differentiation of progenitor cells and stem cells. The invention relates to anti-flt3-L antibodies and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays comprising such antibodies, and which are encoded by the cDNA insert in the vector sfHAV-EO410 in E. coli DH10B cells having ATCC Accession No. 69286. Further provided are therapeutic applications in the screening, diagnosis and biological assays of disorders with elevated serum levels of flt-3 ligand, such as Fanconi's and myelodysplastic syndrome, as well as aplastic and refractory anemia
Abstract:Ligands for flt3 receptors capable of transducing self-renewal signals to regulate the growth, proliferation or differentiation of progenitor cells and stem cells are disclosed. The invention is directed to anti-flt3-L antibodies and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays comprising such antibodies.
